The very first book in The Stealing of Emily series has now been completed with AI-generated audio! Given the depth and length of these titles, I honestly didn’t think they would ever make it into audiobook format — but technology is catching up, and now it’s finally happening.

A setback on Google Books has temporarily removed the title from their platform this month. However, as I made clear in my earlier correspondence (sent May 11), the problem wasn’t with the files — it’s with systemic issues inside Google’s Partner Center platform.

✅ The “Submit” button still doesn’t function without agent-side help (something I’ve raised multiple times).
⚠️ The upload form doesn’t display properly in the window.
⚠️ File names get cut off with no warning.
⚠️ Chapter sorting is a pain — no bulk tools, no drag-and-drop.

It’s disappointing that Google hasn’t addressed any of these usability issues, especially when they slow down the publishing process so dramatically.

The good news?
The audiobook version landed successfully on ACX and is now in final review for Audible and other platforms. Keep an eye out — the first Stealing of Emily audiobook is just around the corner.
